AUSTRALIAN MODERN MASTERPIECES

From the Art Gallery of New South Wales

Selected from the collections of the Art Gallery of New South Wales and Newcastle Art Gallery, this exhibition presents over eighty icons of Australian modern art.

Included in the exhibition are works by Arthur Boyd, Grace Cossington Smith, William Dobell, Russell Drysdale, Donald Friend, James Gleeson, Roy de Maistre, Sidney Nolan, Margaret Olley, John Olsen, Margaret Preston, Lloyd Rees, Jeffrey Smart, Roland Wakelin, Brett Whiteley, and Fred Williams.

Newcastle Art Gallery is the only New South Wales venue for this exhibition.
